Jessica Sexton

Jessica Sexton

Jessica Sexton is the principal of Larkspur Elementary. She is committed to fostering the academic and personal growth of each student and believes in working collaboratively with teachers, families, and the community to nurture responsible and accomplished individuals.

Previous to her current position, Mrs. Sexton spent two years as the assistant principal for Sunset Canyon Elementary and Sky Crossing Elementary and one year as the instructional coach at Explorer Middle School. Prior to joining PVSchools, Mrs. Sexton was a classroom teacher in the Madison School District for 12 years where her experience spanned across 5th to 8th grade, specializing in math and science. Beyond core subjects, she has enriched students' education by teaching diverse electives such as drama, coding, journalism, and positive life skills. Principal Sexton’s commitment to student development extended beyond the classroom as she coached Varsity Cheerleading and JV Volleyball teams. Additionally, she served as an advisor for both the yearbook and school newspaper, fostering student creativity and community engagement.

Mrs. Sexton earned a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Arizona State University and a Master of Education in Educational Administration from Grand Canyon University.
