About Our School
Larkspur is a student-centered, professional learning community fully committed to fostering academic and personal growth.
Proudly serving students from Pre-K through 6th grade as the home of the Mustangs, Larkspur first opened in the 1960’s and was reconstructed in 2012. The Larkspur school community believes in the power of working collaboratively with all stakeholders to ensure a safe and respectful environment and ensure all students reach their full potential to become positive and valued members of society.
Larkspur’s vision is to provide opportunities for all students to achieve individual success
Larkspur provides two special education programs on campus, Learning for Independence (LFI) and Learning Academic Success (LAS).
Larkspur offers valuable on-site programs including PAC, a City of Phoenix after-school initiative, and After the Bell, which provides before and after-school academic support and enrichment.
Larkspur is an AVID school that strives to instill the necessary attitudes, skills, and knowledge in our students to help them thrive inside and outside the classroom.
The AVID framework supports Larkspur's mission to support students in learning essential life skills that will prepare them for college, trade schools, careers and beyond.
